The Community Outreach Committee is the VYP volunteer arm. Throughout the year, the committee works to help young professionals engage in both hands-on acitivies as well as fund raising acitivites for numerous non-profit groups throughout the Southern Nevada comunity. 

In 2012 VYP intrdouced the Outreach Team, which is a group of volunteers who recieve one e-mail a month from the Community Outreach Chairman letting them know about what acitivites the committee is participating in. Team members can pick and choose what events they would like to help out with.

Recap: 2011 Anniversary Mixer- VYP Helped Homeless

December 2011- During the December Fusion Mixer, VYP raised over $1,300 and filled two 55-gallon barrels full of new, unwrapped toys for the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. 

August 2011- During the White Hot and Over the Top Mixer, VYP raised over $1,600 and collected another $400 worth of school supplies for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas and Henderson.

May 2011- VYP raised over $400 and collected two garbage bags full of jeans, underwear and bras to help the clients (homeless youth) of NPHY.
