Welcome to Vegas Young Professionals!

Vegas Young Professionals (VYP) is a division of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and our members are individuals between the ages of 21-39. VYP was formed in March of 2006, and we're happy to announce that we exceeded 1,000 members in December of 2007. We are the largest young professionals organization in the state of Nevada, and pride ourselves in being the ideal organization to make new business contacts, to gain a unique perspective on the Southern Nevada business community, and to further your professional development.

Membership in VYP gives you access to exclusive events designed especially for you. VYP's signature events include:

• Fusion Mixers
  a general membership mixer held monthly. Fusion Mixers will allow you to network in some of Vegas' most elite venues.There are two fusion mixers per year that are open to members and non-members; the other ten are for members-only.
• Bigwig Lunch Times (BLTs)
  intimate meetings over lunch with a select group of VYP members, featuring a "bigwig" in town. The luncheon is informal, and allows for open dialogue with some of the most important business leaders in Vegas.
• Business 101 Series
  luncheon series featuring panels of experts on various business topics.
• Excursions
  behind-the-scenes tours of innovative businesses in town. This type of event may include fun activities as well, and will always have a networking aspect.
• 5-Minute Networking
  a rapid networking event where you'll be able to meet a number of prospective business contacts one-on-one, in 5 minute increments. Each event has open networking before and after the main 5 Minute Networking.
• Golfworking
  an annual VYP golf-outing, complete with a follow-up mixer at a local golf course.
